Tea and Compassion

What do Tea at The Terrace at Mountain Creek and the Salvation Army's Spring Fling have in common?

Scenic City small ensembles performed at both venues recently and had a great time doing it!

The Mother's Day Tea at the Terrace is a wonderful occasion for mothers, daughters and granddaughters wearing lovely hats to bond together in love and fellowship over high tea. SCC was very pleased to be part of this special family day and the tea goers enjoyed our performance. (Photo to the left.)

In a note from Allison Jackson, Life Enrichment director, "Thank you so much for bringing the ensemble to perform for all our residents and their guests. Everyone is continuing to talk about how much they loved it!"

The Salvation Army, an international Christian evangelical organization, seeks to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs without discrimination.

The Salvation Army Spring Fling luncheon focusses on getting new members. They're now in the midst of revitalizing their yearly Purse Auction, a fundraiser that has attracted hundreds of donors in the greater Chattanooga area in past years. SCC wishes them great success.

Two performances, both venues based on love and caring. How wonderful is that?
